The Journey

EVERY CLUB HAS A BEGINNING. THIS IS OURS.

AUGUST  2026 - THE IDEA

What began as a simple question - why doesn't Edgware have a senior non-league football club playing in the town it represents? - became the starting point for Edgware FC

THE FIRST CONVERSATIONS

The idea quickly became a project. Initial contact was made with Barnet Council and Middlesex FA to explore what would be required to create a new community football club with a permanent home in Edgware.

PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Professional advisors were approached to help determine the most appropriate legal and corporate structure for a genuine community club - designed to be sustainable, properly governed and accountable to its members.

THE MEETING

A meeting with Barnet Council was arranged to discuss the project and the potential for establishing a permanent home for Edgware FC.  Middlesex FA will also attend bringing specialist football facilities expertise to the discussion.

21st AUGUST 2026 - EDGWARE FC GOES PUBLIC

The website launches, introducing the vision for Edgware FC and inviting the community to follow the journey from the very beginning.
