IMAGINE A SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN EDGWARE
The teams are walking out . Children are wearing their Edgware FC shirts. Families are making their way towards the ground. Local businesses are supporting their local club.
On the pitch is a senior non-league team representing the town. Around it is a football facility that is being used throughout the week by the wider community.
Men's football. Women's football. Disability football. Youth football. Opportunities for people of different ages and abilities to participate in the game.
And behind the goal are some of the people who remember when Edgware FC was nothing more than an idea.
Because they helped build it.
MORE THAN A FIRST TEAM
Edgware FC is intended to be more than a team that plays on Saturday afternoons.
Our ambition is to create a genuine community club - with senior football at its heart, but providing opportunities for people across Edgware to participate in the game.
